What music did for my Selective Mutism

If you've read the other pages on this site, you'll know that I was extremely depressed several years ago. I believe the Beatles saved my life, and while that might sound ridiculous, if you read these pages here it'll make more sense. I lived by the words in these songs, and still do and probably always will. Of course, I have a lot more albums and songs now than I did then, but I still went through every song by the Beatles and the individual members of the Beatles that I have, because the music still affects my life now and keeps me going even though I'm no longer depressed. This part of the page actually took a lot of work, if you want to call it that, because it meant actually listening to every song and reading the lyrics to see which ones fit in with the concept of the page. That means 57 hours and 18 minutes worth of music, 1057 songs (with some repeats of course)! But it also meant discovering new things about the music that I hadn't noticed before, so it was well worth it. I might even add to this page as I get new albums by any of these artists. Some of the stuff here made me think about life in general, some made me think about how it would get better eventually, some made me realize things I hadn't seen before, all of it has some sort of meaning to me. Hopefully by reading some of the lyrics, you might have a similar reaction.

The Beatles
John Lennon
Paul McCartney
George Harrison
Ringo Starr
